Double Hung Windows

With a timeless design, the double-hung windows are popular in homes all across Australia. Suitable for traditional and contemporary homes, the double-hung design allows air circulation through the top, bottom, or both sashes.

Energy Efficiency

New double-hung windows can drastically reduce heating and cooling costs due to increased energy efficiency. Old windows are inherently inefficient because they were not designed with energy efficiency in mind—even windows that are more than 10 years old.

Classic and Vulnerable

Double-hung windows, often found in older homes, tend to be most vulnerable to break-ins. A double-hung window has two panes of glass, one above the other, and is often secured with a crescent latch. The latch is generally not designed to be extremely secure; it just keeps the window closed.
